act4tv is the country's newest and most innovative actors' centre, enabling actors of varying levels of ability to develop their skill in acting for TV/ Film through understanding acting for audition and acting on set.
Kids act4tv
Our approach is entirely different to other types of children's drama schools - we look at things from a Casting Directors point of view.
Our initial modules revolve around acting for audition followed later by acting on set.
Acting for audition is different in many ways to acting on set and our aim as Casting Directors is to train all of our students to confidently handle an audition, by obtaining hands on experience of a casting session.
Where as many other children's acting classes sit their children on the floor playing party games, we instead provide the skills, knowledge, and ability required to confidently take part in auditioning for TV and film roles.
We are not theatre or stage orientated, but strictly TV & Film orientated.
At Kids act4tv our artists will learn to deliver idents, to confidently chat to camera and be themselves. They will study acting technique & delivery which will involve cold reading of scripts as well as coping with learning a script within a 15 – 20 minute period.
Kids act4tv provides a centre for young professionals.
